According to the CDC, over 356,000 people die from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest each year.
This number covers Men, Women, Adults, and Children, and does not discriminate based on
color, sexuality, religion, or politics. It can happen to a complete stranger or a loved one at anytime.
Scientific evidence has proven that someone has the best chances of survival, when they get immediate CPR.
In January 2023, the world watched as Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered sudden cardiac arrest,
he survived mostly due to immediate CPR started on the field. While other elements like his age, and
having medical staff right there CPR is a major part of what saved him. In this class you will also learn how
to properly use an A.E.D. not only in an adult, but also in children and infants. While even in the world of
emergency services the use of CPR and an A.E.D. is not used everyday, to keep up on your skills this certification
requires you to recertify every 2 years. While it is only required every 2 years, if you would like to brush up on
your skills, if you purchased your initial class or last recery through CPR Training Now, you are able to come and
sit in on other classes and ask questions free of charge. After the initial class is done you will have time to
practice on the training equipiment.
After you are done with the CPR portion of the class, we will hop right in to
first aid. While CPR and using an A.E.D. is a very important life saving skill,
you are more than likley to use first aid. In first aid we will cover a decent
portion of traumatic emergencies and medical emergencies, we will cover subjects
from Minor to severe traumas to common medical emergencies like asthma, strokes,
allergic reactions, and weather injuries just to name a few. All of this will help
stabilize a person until emergency responders can get on scene, and take over care.
In some cases a majority of Americans use first aid multiple times a month, in most
cases it isn't a life threatening event, however you will never really know when that
could all change.
Most people have the good intentions to help one another,
from seeing someone fall down and helping them to their feet to stopping along side the
road to help someone invoilved in a vehicle accident. In some cases we have a loved one
who suffers from Diabetes, or we know some on who has a severe allergy to one or multiple
things. Wouldn't be nice to know that you have the training and knowledge to help not
only a complete stranger, but also a loved one who may be having any of these emergencies
mentioned.

This card is more often carried by EMT's, Paramedics, LPN's, RN's, and other providers
who are required to do patient care in the hospital and out of hosptials setting.
